ASHL Update: April 7th

Canlan Ice Sports and the ASHL remain dedicated to supporting our participants and our local communities to help flatten the COVID-19 curve.

As of April 7th, we’re able to provide ASHL participants with the following updates:

Resumption of Winter ’19/20 Games: In the event that games for the Winter ’19/20 season are unable to resume by June 15th*, registration credits will be issued to impacted teams based on the number of guaranteed games that were missed. This credit can be used against any registration fees for either the Summer 2020 or Winter ’20/21 season.

Summer ’20 Season: Any re-opening date for Canlan locations prior to July 15th will see a protracted Summer ’20 season be scheduled. In the event that games for the Summer ’20 season are unable to begin by July 15th, registration credits or cash refunds on any Summer ’20 registration fees will be issued to teams based on their preference.

2020 ASHL National Championships: The ASHL has made the decision to cancel the 2020 ASHL National Championships, with the intention to re-schedule the event for 2021. Any team registration fees will be issued a registration credit or a cash refund based on their preference. Additional details about a potential 2021 event will be released later in the year.

We’d like to thank all of our ASHL participants for their continued patience during this challenging time, and encourage players to monitor ASHL.ca for additional updates.
