TORONTO, ONT. – The Province of Ontario has announced that public health measures are set to be eased as early as Monday, January 31st, provided that underlying health indicators remain favourable.
So, what does this mean for scheduled ASHL games in Ontario?
Well, let’s just say we’re gearing up to safely drop the puck again as early as January 31st. 🔥
Season Restart: Since the Winter ’21/22 season was paused at Ontario locations on January 5th, we’ve been working diligently to develop restart scenarios to drop the puck again. In the wake of the Province’s announcement, we’re currently finalizing plans for the resumption of the Winter ’21/22 season, complying with all public health measures in place. Additional details will be forthcoming the week of January 24th …so make sure those skates are sharp.
Team Rep Updates: In addition to updates on ASHL.ca, League Managers will be contacting registered Winter ’21/22 Team Reps with additional details to prepare your team for the re-start of ASHL gameplay as early as January 31st, and all of the details you’ll need to know about the rest of the season.
Summer ’22 x Ontario: While it isn’t exactly shorts weather right now, we are inching closer to sunny days. With that in mind, we’ll be dropping Summer ’22 registration details for all locations in the very near future. 👀
In the meantime, stay safe, and stay tuned, and stay sharp. ASHL Hockey in Ontario is just around the corner.
