2024 ASHL NATIONALS: CHICAGO

For the first time since 2018, the ASHL National Championships are set to return to the ice with Canlan Sports Romeoville and West Dundee hosting the prestigious tournament in 2024!

Featuring ASHL and ASHL Affiliate League teams from across Canada and the United States, this year’s tournament will feature Men’s 18+, Men’s 30+, and Women’s divisions. Team rosters will be analyzed with teams subsequently being placed into round robin pools that maximize divisional parity and ensure the best possible games.

Divisions in 2024 will be split between Romeoville and West Dundee, with final confirmations expected to be provided to teams by the end of February. Every participating team will receive a four-game guarantee, a beauty trip with your pals, and the opportunity to hoist the cup at the end of it all.

TOURNAMENT HISTORY

After being structured as the Canlan Cup through 2006, the tournament was re-branded as the North American Championships for its 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, and 2015 editions.

In 2018 the tournament took on a new identity as the ASHL National Championships, with a tournament-high 98 teams descending on Calgary, Alta. in the event’s largest field to-date. The 2024 edition of the tournament sees the Nationals head Southeast to Chicago, where more than 100 teams are expected to make up the largest field yet.
